Refreshing the Avantgarde
We refitted and refined the corporate typeface of Swiss furniture maker Vitra into a systematic type family and helped with implementation in ads, on the website, furniture labels, packaging and more to coherently communicate the brand identity.

Screen fonts – Optimised for screen use in a wide range of sizes, the corporate typeface integrates the various formats of the sprawling website, from long magazine articles to short product information and the shop.
Campus identity – On Vitra’s campus outside Weil am Rhein, Germany, the typeface leads you around the signature buildings, the park, into the shop and the museum with its changing design-themed exhibitions.



Corporate publishing – The encompassing typeface family transmits the brand identity to any printed matter from the various sub-companies – including Vitra Design Museum, Artek, Vizona, and Visplay – without compromising on the quality of the design.
