Titus Nemeth
(*1983) received an MA from the University of Reading in 2006. He subsequently specialised in multilingual design with a focus on the Arabic script. His BBC Nassim was realised in 2010–11. Returning to the university to further root his practice in historical research, he received a PhD in Typography and Graphic Communication from Reading in 2014. His study Arabic Type-Making in the Machine Age was published in 2017.
Titus has taught type design and typography at schools in Austria, France, Morocco, Qatar and the UK. Among his recent typefaces are Darden Studio Omnes Arabic (2016), LL Circular Arabic (2017), as well as Morisawa Clarimo Arabic, LL Akkurat Arabic and LL Brown Arabic (all 2019). Titus is currently a Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow at the University of Reading.
