Pablo Desportes

Pablo Desportes

(*1996) is a Paris-based designer specialising in graphic design, type design and editorial design. Graduating with a BA from La Cambre, Brussels, in 2020, he started his independent practice in the same year, serving clients across various sectors of the cultural industries. After interning at Lineto in Zurich, he continued to work as a Lineto in-house designer from 2021 to 2025, focussing on typefaces, type specimen and website features.

Pablo’s first Lineto releases were the playfully variable dot-matrix face LL DMT (2021/22) and the re-iteration of the typographic ready-made LL Plot (2022). His graphic counterpart to the geometric sans LL Supreme, LL Supremus (2024), became the subject of the 8th chapter of LOOM, Na Kim’s exhibition series for graphic design at her Berlin showroom. Pablo then systematically recaptured and expanded the Bill-themed LL supermax (2024). In 2025, he released his single weight headline face LL Capital, which offers a new take on ITC adaptations of Caslon from the 1970s.
