1999 the "vectrex" family, inspired by the vector-based display technology of early computer games like the seminal "vectrex" machine, was designed for the web representation of "game_over", an interactive exhibition on computer games at the museum fuer gestaltung zuerich. it was used for text display on the huge projection displays in the exhbition space and also became one of the most defining elements of the exhibition's online representation. designed in three weights for consistent line width at various sizes, the font is accompanied by a set of dingbat characters.
