"mono-book" is based on "ff magda-clean" by henning krause and critzler, who in turn had based their design on my fuzzy version "ff magda". originally adapted for the typographic design of an exhibition catalogue for the kunsthaus zuerich, it was further developed to look sharper and harder than "ff magda-clean" with its soft and friendly modernist feel. two new versions, "mono-light" and "mono-bold", are in progress and should be available by spring 2000.
